SPQR and "Our Mother's Sons"

Freneticism thy name is SPQR. Liverpool art-rockers SPQR may not be household names yet but an instance of their music, and you're immediately swayed by the controlled chaos they exude. The band recently unveiled the video for the track "Our Mother's Sons" and it is a perfect example of their brand of musical discord.
The track is from their upcoming 4-song EP Long Sun Long Shadows, due out April 26th on Modern Sky UK.
SPQR is the work of frontman Peter Harrison, who says the frenetic work of the band comes out from the connection he has with a myriad of emotions, something that comes naturally;
"I like to express myself. And—even though having this super strong connection to my feelings is a fuckin’ burden on my life—I do feel like it helps me to write, because they’re all just there."
Yet while he says he connects easily with his feelings, he just wants SPQR to "be whatever we want it to", and that he's "all about creative freedom".
It won't take you long to connect to SPQR. The band recently performed at the BBC 6music Fringe Festival and will take part in next month's Liverpool Sound City Festival.
