Hatchie says "Stay With Me"

Her upcoming album, Keepsake, is due June 21st and in preparation, Hatchie has released a new single titled "Stay With Me".

We recently discovered Brisbane dream-pop artist Hatchie, and immediately fell in love with the incandescent music she creates. It evoked some of our favorite memories of music by Stars, Goldfrapp and their kind; a musical luminescence that can only be described as music written for the constellations.

Perhaps an old punk like myself isn't the target demographic for such music but what does it say about Hatchie that someone like me has fallen for her tunes? It is vast reaching, genre-busting and irresistible.

"Stay With Me" has got disco-lite touches but still sways with the melodic grace of pop's more sophisticated work, and does a remarkable job of being accessible without becoming flimsy radio fare.

It's impossible not to like.
