The sequel to the most unexpectedly great film of the past 15 years has premiered its first full trailer. Zombieland 2: Double Tap is the much anticipated sequel to 2009's Zombieland, and features a returning cast of Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jessie Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin.
Director Ruben Fleischer returns to helm the flick on a script by returning writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The writers are joined by David Callaham, who has previously co-written scripts for The Expendables as well as the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984. Zombieland 2: Double Tap co-stars Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, and Luke Wilson (we're guessing Bill Murray won't be taking part) and follows the story on from the original;
"Columbus, Tallahasse, Wichita, and Little Rock move to the American heartland as they face off against evolved zombies, fellow survivors, and the growing pains of the snarky makeshift family."
See, it's a family movie. Zombieland 2 is scheduled to open in the United States on October 18th. Looks like a blast. Nut up or shut up.
