Oasis have lined up several big US appearances for the coming summer months, their first since 2002. The group have announced several North American shows slated for this June to go along with a slew of European dates- including a huge show at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden. The June 22nd concert will also feature Aussie rockers Jet in support. Tickets for the event go on sale February 12th.

Guitarist and less infamous Gallagher brother, Noel, has also discussed the band’s upcoming new album saying; “The finished album is my favourite one of the last four. Because we're all contributing to the songwriting there's a different feel to it.” The currently untitled album is scheduled for a May 16th release. The band are hoping their new material will garner a little more positive noise as their previous few have been met with somewhat tepid reviews and marginal success.
